WebbU figured out my issue. It was Waze that was somehow causing my phone audio to drop. Used different navigation app today with no phone audio issues. Did a test three times whereby I’d turn on Waze while on a call and the audio dropped off of CarPlay right away. So until Apple or Waze fix the bug I’ll just use Maps or Google Maps for navigation.
