WebFirst thing that comes to mind is you may be trying to paint weights to one joint when the vertices already have weight painted onto a different joint. Make sure the vertices you want to paint weight on have zero influence from other joints. Try locking each joint after you get done with the weights and see how it goes. WebbrSmoothWeights has been completely rewritten and comes with it’s own paint tool which provides a better performance throughout. Adusting the size and strength reflects the behaviour of the default Maya sculpt tools. The tool is now multi-threaded and with large speed improvements.
