G6 front speakers not working

The wires in the jambs fail due to the doors opening and closing resulting in broken and chafed wires. With the door open, pinch the rubber boot at one end and then pull it from the door (or jamb, whichever end you're pinching).

The easiest and simplest was taking off the door panel, pulling the speaker, and putting a meter on the wires attached to the speaker (with the key on to provide power). The only output devices shown in volume control setting are that monitor, Realtek Audio speakers (the one inside the desktop unit) and Echo Cancelling Speakerphone, which is part of the E273m system. Within a couple of days the speakers stopped working. all 4. Only the tweeters worked. I checked door plugs, removed radio and reseated connectors. Checked for amp, none on my model Traverse.
